Having a beach pre-wedding photoshoot doesn't need to be sunny - I loved this misty, moody atmosphere for Lucy & Kieran at Highcliffe Beach.

After postponing once due to bad weather, I had been looking forward to meeting Lucy & Kieran for their pre-wedding photoshoot on Highcliffe Beach. These sessions are always an amazing opportunity to connect with my couples and capture some beautiful moments before their big day.

While we were hoping for a warm, sunny day, the misty, moody atmosphere that the beach was giving us was just as stunning. The mist rolling in off the sea created a dramatic backdrop that I knew would make for some truly special photographs.

Lucy and Kieran were a dream to photograph - fun, relaxed, and so obviously in love. We spent the morning running around the beach, capturing their natural connection and the joy that radiated between them.

Despite the challenges of the weather not being warm and sunny as we had hoped, we made the most of the misty surroundings and had a great time creating some stunning images. I am so excited to see these two again for their wedding at Kimbridge Barn in May. I know that their love is going to shine even brighter on their special day, and I feel honoured to be the one capturing those moments for them.

Being a Dorset wedding photographer, I am always inspired by the natural beauty of the area and the love stories that unfold within it - Highcliffe Beach provided the perfect backdrop for Lucy & Kieran's beach couple photoshoot.

I can't wait to see what their wedding day holds and to continue capturing their love story in all its beauty and authenticity. Here's to many more magical moments to come!
