Christmas in 2020

Not to sound like a cliched broken record or anything, but 2020 has been the year that no one expected, and we all know that Christmas is going to be a little different this year.

But, that doesn't mean that we can't still spread some seasonal joy!

This year, more than ever, is about buying small and supporting your local independent businesses who will have been hit hard by the sh*tstorm that has been 2020. So, I have created this dedicated Christmas page to bring you all of my special Christmas offerings, as well as signposting you to some of my favourite makers, creatives and small businesses who have some great Christmas gift options for all the family.

During Lockdown 1.0 my Doorstep Portraits were really popular and raised over £700 to support the NHS, as well as creating a historical record of life in lockdown to be held by the local museum.

For Lockdown 2.0 I'm bringing the Doorstep Portraits back with a festive twist! Get those fairy lights and Christmas jumpers out early and get in the Christmas spirit with a mini family photoshoot on your front door.

Great for Christmas gifts, or just a bit of light-hearted family fun, you will come away from your Doorstep Portrait with a minimum of 5 digital images and that warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling you only get from cuddling your loved ones while covered in tinsel (or watching the John Lewis Christmas adverts...or drinking 3 glasses of mulled wine...)

I am charging for Doorstep Portraits this time. Buying a session for yourself or as a gift will help keep me and my business going this winter, you have no idea how much your support is appreciated. I do also want to keep giving back, so 10% of each Doorstep Portrait session will be donated to Action for Children's Secret Santa campaign, so you'll know your purchase will also be helping to make Christmas a bit more jolly for vulnerable children across the UK.
