This summer we spent a warm sunny day exploring Corfe Castle in Dorset, with a chance to update some family photographs. It was my first time visiting this National Trust site (and I love me a National Trust trip!) and I'm already planning my return! It is so picturesque, with a cute little village with views to the castle on the hill in all directions. The ruin itself is fun to wander round, trying to piece together its history and wondering at how the sloping walls stay up. Harriet named it the "wonky tower", which is spot on!
